Aggressive Business, Tax & Practice Mgmt. Seminar - Telluride

This seminar will help you save taxes, retire wealthy and be better at running the business of your practice. The goals are simple — to conduct a tax-deductible seminar at a delightful site, for a modest cost, and have the doctor and spouse learn enough to more than pay for the trip. The majority of attendees are repeat attendees. Why? Because the emphasis is on easy-to-implement practical ideas on such things as aggressive (but always legal) tax ideas that too many timid accountants fail to suggest, practice building ideas, retirement plans, practice transition ideas, employee benefits, insurance, cost cutting ideas and others.

Takeaways

  • New Tax Law Changes – The course content will cover current tax law changes we see affecting doctors and their practices.
  • New, Improved Retirement Plans – New tax-savvier plan designs that can improve the power of plans for doctors who want to save between $10,000 and $200,000 per year.
  • Improve Profitability – Common sense ways to improve profitability.
  • Staffing – Creative ways to hire and retain great employees.
  • Insurance Needs – Appropriate levels (if any) of life, disability and long-term care insurance. What the insurance sales people prefer you don’t know.
  • Practice Transition – How to find a buyer for your practice, how practices are appraised and how to structure the transition to save tax.
  • Maximizing Retirement Plan Investments through Sound Investing – How to build them while working, and how to reposition them near retirement.

Prior attendees were impressed with the outstanding skiing at all levels, and the magnificent setting of the Rocky Mountains. Telluride offers a true escape from the hustle and bustle of other crowded ski destinations. We absolutely loved the Mountain Lodge. It is constructed like a large log cabin, and is beautifully decorated in western motif and is ski-in, ski-out.

Lodge room group rates start at $199/night and go up to $379 for a two bedroom suite or condo. On seminar days we will serve a full classic breakfast and host fun aprés skis.

Please arrive at the meeting room at The Mountain Lodge between 7:15-7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2019, to sign in and receive course materials.  Lectures will be held Thursday through Saturday from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.. We will host lovely aprés skis each afternoon. Sunday's meeting will be 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.. There will be question and answer periods before and after the meeting.  Outlines will be used as a guide to the course.

It would be useful to have a list of specific questions ready, but we will cover the most commonly asked ones in detail during the seminar as well. All course material will be provided while checking-in on the first day. For complete candidness, tape recorders will not be allowed at the program.
